How do I set the ringing options on my Nokia phone?

To set the ringing options on your Nokia phone:

1. Press Menu 3 (Profiles).
2. Highlight the profile you want to choose for your "Ringing Options" and press Options.
3. Highlight "Customize" and press OK.
4. "Ringing options" appears. Press Select.
5. Highlight your choice of ringing options. Your choices are as follows: 
   • Ring: The phone rings.
   • Increasing: The ringing volume starts low and increases with successive rings.
   • Ring once: The phone rings once.
   • Beep once: The phone gives a short beep.
   • Caller Groups: If you have any caller groups marked, the phone does not ring unless the call is from a person who belongs to the selected group.
   • Silent: The phone sounds no tone.
6. Press OK.

Please note: When "Beep once", "Silent" or "Caller groups" is selected the display  icon is shown if your start up screen is clear. The call alert setting is stored individually for operation with a hands free desktop charger and a hands free car kit.

• The options available for Ring tones do not affect incoming text message alert tones, only incoming calls.
